Pedraza - A Medieval Village in Spain

Pedraza is a medieval village in Spain and this fact is very much evident from the walls around the village. There is a lovely atmosphere in this village for visitors and they are required to park their cars in the village once they reach it. There is a huge car parking near the castle where the visitors to the village can park their cars. The village is explored by foot as it is not very big and its streets are enjoyable for walking.

The village is originally historical and according to historians there were human settlements in this area even in the fourth century before Christ.

In the last two decades the village has gained popularity as a good tourist resort and has been preserved well for the same reason. There are small hotels available for staying in this village and there are excellent restaurants that offer tasty meals to their customers.

However it was reconstructed in the fifteenth century and has been preserved well in recent times. Similarly the Santa Maria church is fabulous as it was built in the sixteenth century.
